I’m Alessandro, an independent product builder in Sicily. I design and build mobile applications, complete web apps, landing pages, SaaS management systems and websites for every kind of business, from backend to interface.

Not always! When it’s truly necessary, I work with industry professionals, for example for marketing and social media. If a project needs more hands, I’ll tell you right away and bring in the right people.

For native apps I use Swift and Android Studio; for cross-platform ones, frameworks like Flutter; for the web, Next.js, Astro, PHP, HTML5, CSS...; for graphic design, the Adobe suite. I pick the tool to fit the problem.

I avail myself of the option to use artificial intelligence, when it’s needed and for what it’s needed for.

Yes! An idea, a name, a prototype, then the real product: guiding a project from the start is part of my work. You don’t need documents or specs, just an email telling me what you have in mind. A person answers.

It depends on what you need: a simple site and an app with accounts, payments and an admin panel are very different jobs. That’s why I’d rather talk first. Once we’ve talked, I’ll give you an honest estimate of cost and time.

No! I work from home, in Sicily, but the work happens online. A request to build a project can come from anywhere and from any kind of business.

No, it isn’t my trade. My work is building platforms, management systems, apps and sites that solve a specific problem for the people who use them. Administering servers and infrastructure is a different discipline, with different goals. Still, I’ve spent quite a lot of time next to the servers of companies that run large systems, and I learned a great deal there. If your project needs managed infrastructure, I’ll tell you, and when needed I’ll bring in an industry professional.

For years I worked in a large warehouse in the retail distribution sector, among pallets and cardboard. Then I moved on to running a management system for large-scale retail from behind the scenes, as a systems administrator. The full story is on the About page.
